4 Again and a Good Night for NJPMAN

After last week's disappointing results, we meditated. It worked! This week we blasted our opponents. It was probably the easiest four we have taken in years. PeelBerry did okay(he was sick though). Shrekzilla bowled over average every time. I had an awesome 660 series with a high game of 277. Hopefully this is something that we can carry over into next week.

No 50/50.
No High Game(I don't play it).
No Pull Tabs.
No Club Keno.

So close...

This week was a tough week. We only took 1, but what really made it stink was that we were so close every time. The harshness of the handicap system our league came up to bite us. Don't get we wrong, I have studied the system and found it to be about as fair as possible. The problem is that it will always help mediocre bowlers who are steadily improving more than the good bowlers. It is in general more likely that a 150 bowler will sneak out the occasional 200 game, than it is for the 200 bowler to sneak in a 250. That is life and that is fine. If you have the lower handicap, you have to be on 102% of the time. We didn't quite do it this week. Hopefully next week will be better.

Shrek had some 50/50 winnings. $18.50 or so.
No high game.
Pull Tabs were a bust again.

Sorry 'bout That!!

I would just like to apologize for my poor showing this weekend. I don't know what it was but even pocket shots didn't work for me. And I would like to say that I am sorry to my fellow NJP teammates for the way I acted afterwards. Some nights you just cant get anything to work for ya and I guess that was my night. This is me moving forward fellas. That's all I got for now peeps.

Not Born to Lose

After a couple lackluster weeks, the NJP Bowling Congress of the Americas put together a good week. We took three from our arch-nemesis, the Born Losers. We kind of let it go in the third game, but that is life. PeelBerry led with a good solid 600+ week. Things are looking up and our temporary slide seems to be over.

No 50/50.
No Pull Tabs.
No High Game.

One More Week

As our journey towards greatnes continues, it just seems as if we are unable to seal the deal. All season long we haven't been able to put the entire package together. Hopefully in the coming weeks we can put something together that will put us back upon the throne of glory.

Something that I think we can all do is put some of our techno devices to use and get our ugly mugs upon this site. We all possess the needed tools to do this, so lets get on the ball and do it.

Well, thats all I got man, I'll try and bring something more later in the week.

Bad Shoes, Bad Night

I knew things were not going to be good as soon as I realized that I had left my bowling shoes in my van that was 45 miles away. Let me just say this...Rental shoes are assy as hell.

I really can't blame the shoes. I did fine, with scores of 173, 153, 237. The two main problems though, that when put together always lead to disaster on a momentous scale were that our opponents had a guy bowling out of his tree, and PeelBerry just could not get anything going. We came out of the night with one point. Leaving us at 40-32 for the season and probably back in 8th. There is still plenty of time though.

No 50/50 or Pull Tab winnings this week.

2-2

2-2 was all the NJP Bowling Incorporation could muster this past week. Lane conditions were treacherous and we had nothing for our opponents the first game. Because of that we lost by a margin we could just not make up to take 3. Life goes on and the one thing we do know is that even with this bad showing we are still only one week away from 2nd place.

I still don't think we can be stopped.

Also of note, PeelBerry won a 50/50 drawing for $19.50 and then promptly turned around and dropped it on the pull tabs.
